Terms of use.
These terms govern your use of Mesocycle (the "app," the "service"),
including everything at mesocycle.app and its subdomains.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you
don't agree, don't use the app.
This page is written to be readable. It's not a substitute for professional legal advice.
1. Who can use this
You must be at least 16 years old, capable of entering into a binding agreement, and not barred from doing so under applicable law. If you're using the app on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. Your account
You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Don't share your account. If you think someone else has accessed it, change your password and contact us.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt to compromise its security, or use it in ways that violate these terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or probe the app except as expressly permitted by law.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, row-level security, or any other technical restriction.
- Use automated systems to access the app in a manner that sends more request volume than a reasonable human would.
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute the app's content, programming logic, or training defaults as if they were your own.
- Use the service to harass others or to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
Responsible security research is welcome. If you find a vulnerability, email us before disclosing publicly and we'll respond quickly.
4. The app is not medical advice
Mesocycle provides training information and tools. It is not medical, physical-therapy, nutrition, or clinical advice, and it is not a diagnostic tool. The app does not know your medical history, injuries, medications, or conditions.
Before starting, modifying, or continuing any exercise program, consult a qualified medical or rehabilitation professional — especially if you have existing injuries, chronic conditions, are pregnant, or are recovering from illness or surgery.
Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you experience chest pain, severe joint pain, dizziness, shortness of breath beyond normal exertion, or any symptom that seems wrong.
5. Your content
You own your training data. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to operate the service (run the app, back up your data, and so on). This licence ends when you delete your account or the data.
6. Pricing and payment
The app is free during the beta. If a paid tier is introduced in the future, we'll notify you before charging, and the core session generator and logging will remain free. Payment, when introduced, will be processed by a third-party processor under their own terms.
7. Changes to the service
We iterate. Features may change, be added, or be removed. We'll try to announce material changes in the changelog and, where appropriate, inside the app.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, threaten the integrity of the service, or create outsized operational risk. If we terminate without cause, we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the service.
Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the service or your violation of these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mesocycle operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be brought in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify active users in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
